Description

ToughCut Diamond 300 Panel Saw

Professional Full-Sheet Cutting in 240V or 415V

The ToughCut Diamond 300 is a professional sliding table panel saw designed for accurate processing of full-size sheet material in cabinetmaking, furniture production, joinery and educational workshops.

Featuring a 315mm (12") main blade, 2.6m sliding table and maximum cutting length of 2400mm, the Diamond 300 can process standard 2400 × 1200mm sheets with accuracy and control.

Now supplied with a digital rip-fence readout as standard, the Diamond 300 makes fence positioning faster and easier to verify for accurate, repeatable rip cuts.

Choose between a versatile 3HP 240V single-phase model or the more powerful 5.5HP 415V three-phase configuration. Both models feature electric blade rise, fall and tilt, an independent 1HP scoring motor and a rigid cast-iron saw unit for stable, repeatable cutting.

Key Features

  • Digital rip-fence readout included as standard
  • 315mm (12") main blade for accurate panel and sheet-material processing
  • 2.6m sliding table with a maximum cutting length of 2400mm
  • Suitable for processing standard 2400 × 1200mm sheets
  • Choice of 3HP 240V single-phase or 5.5HP 415V three-phase power
  • Electric blade rise and fall for faster, more accurate setup
  • Electric blade tilt for controlled angle cutting
  • Independent 1HP scoring motor for clean cuts in laminated and finished panels
  • Cast-iron saw unit for stability and reduced vibration
  • Cast-iron rip-fence body with a durable aluminium fence
  • Dual vertical shaft mounting for smooth and accurate blade movement
  • Tempered and ground prismatic rails for precise sliding-table travel
  • Large crosscut fence with reversible stops
  • Overhead safety guard with integrated dust extraction
  • Designed for professional workshops and educational environments

Clean Panel Cutting

The independent 1HP scoring motor scores the underside of coated or laminated panels before the main blade completes the cut. This helps reduce chipping when processing melamine, laminate and other finished sheet materials.

Stable and Accurate Operation

The heavy cast-iron saw unit helps minimise vibration during operation. Dual vertical shaft mounting supports smooth blade movement, while the tempered and ground prismatic sliding system provides controlled and accurate panel travel.

The large crosscut fence incorporates reversible stops for repeatable cutting, while the cast-iron rip-fence body provides a stable base for accurate rip cuts.

Electric Blade Adjustment

Electric blade rise, fall and tilt allow the operator to adjust cutting depth and angle without relying on manual handwheel positioning. This makes setup faster and helps maintain accuracy across repeated cutting operations.

Digital Rip-Fence Readout Included as Standard

Both Diamond 300 power configurations are now supplied with a digital readout on the rip fence as standard.

The clear digital display allows the operator to quickly check the fence position, helping reduce setup time and supporting accurate, repeatable rip cuts. This is particularly useful when processing batches of cabinet components or repeatedly changing between cutting dimensions.

Which Configuration Should You Choose?

3HP 240V Single Phase

Choose the 240V model when three-phase power is unavailable or when installing the machine in a school, training facility or smaller professional workshop. It provides the principal Diamond 300 features without requiring a 415V three-phase supply.

5.5HP 415V Three Phase

Choose the 415V model for greater main-motor power and more frequent professional use. Its 5.5HP motor is better suited to demanding workloads and workshops processing sheet material regularly.

Ideal For

  • Cabinetmakers

  • Furniture manufacturers

  • Commercial joinery workshops

  • Shopfitters

  • Kitchen manufacturers

  • Schools and technical training facilities

  • Professional woodworking workshops

  • Cutting MDF, plywood, particleboard, melamine and laminated panels

Important Electrical Information

Select the correct electrical configuration before ordering.

The 240V and 415V machines have different motors, power requirements and individual SKUs. The 415V three-phase model requires a compatible three-phase electrical supply.

Electrical connection and commissioning must be completed by a suitably qualified electrician. Confirm your site’s electrical capacity and connection requirements before purchase.
